The Romans - Year 4

This half term, we have been learning about the Romans. 

We have learnt about:
- The Roman Army
- The Roman Invasion
- Life as a Roman soldier
- The Celts 
- Roman shields

We learnt about the organisation and discipline of the Roman army when defeating the Celts. We recreated the 'tortoise shell' formation that the Roman army would stand in during battle.
