Will Annie Egg survive?

Linking to our English text 'Queen of the Falls' where Annie Edson Taylor plunges down Niagara Falls in a barrel, we have recently used our knowledge of how to strengthen structures to create our own barrels.  We made them out of card, strengthened them using triangular shapes and then placed our very own Annie 'the egg' inside. We dropped them from 'Niagara Falls' to predict whether or not this stunt was even possible.

It was an egg-citing afternoon!
