Thank you for your cooperation in enabling us to embed routines such as staggered start and end of the day times over this term. Please note that children will be marked as late if they arrive after the time registration starts. These timings apply during the ongoing pandemic and are subject to change.
At the end of the day, children remain in school until their Class Teacher sees the person who is collecting them from class. There are designated gates for collection for different year groups and classes which are clearly signposted. This is to ensure that the children can be collected safely. If you know you are going to be late, or if you have arranged for someone else to collect your child, please inform us by telephone. If your child is going to be collected by an After School Club, child-minder or you have an alternative regular permanent arrangement please inform us in writing or by email. If any child in Years 5-6 has your permission to walk home by themselves the school, parents must provide written permission to the School Office.
Assemblies take place at various times during the week. On Friday's we hold our special Honours Assembly, celebrating the children's achievements and praising outstanding behaviour.
If a child is receiving an honour, their Parent/Carer will be invited to attend the assembly and see their child receive their special certificate.
Collective worship takes place at various times throughout the week. Collective Worship forms our thoughts for the week and explores how this can contribute to our wider understanding of the world. We celebrate the diverse groups which form our school population. We enjoy weekly led worship led by the Head Teacher, members of staff and the Church Team from All Saints Church through “Open the Book” assemblies. We have an active and affirming relationship with our Church and visit other places of worship throughout the year to enrich our understanding of faith and to enjoy major celebrations from the Christian Calendar.
Parents/Carers have the right to withdraw their children from Collective Worship and in such cases should approach the Head Teacher to discuss alternative options.
