Year 5 Science Trip

We had a wonderful trip to the Science museum, Xplore in Wrexham on Wednesday.
On the way, the children created maps to show how the land use changed as we left the city and travelled towards Wrexham.  We will do some more work on this in our geography lessons next week.

When we arrived at the museum, the children had time to explore the hands on exhibits. They showed they were enthusiastic, curious and independent thinkers as well as resilient learners. We were lucky enough to take part in two workshops about forces and the staff were impressed with the children's prior knowledge and understanding of the topic. We are so proud of the children's behaviour and attitude to learning.

We all had a great day!
