Pilgrimage visit - Chester Cathedral

This week, Year 3 visited Chester Cathedral where we not only learnt about the history of the cathedral, but we laso learnt about the lives of monks who lived there when it was a Benedictine abbey. We learnt too about the life of St Werburgh - the patron saint of Chester and why she was important. We also got to explore how to construct arches using blocks and had a go at making our own stained glass window art.
