What is growing in Year 2? How is it linked to our English?

In Science we have been growing seeds and learning the best way to do this. We have started an investigation into the best or worst conditions for our seeds to grow.

We wonder if you can guess what is growing in the images? They are certainly getting taller and taller each time we measure them.

In English we have been readng 'The Last Wolf' and learning about the importance trees and plants have on the world around us. We have even started to write letters of persuasion about the importance of planting trees and plants to a very important person.
