Year 3 pilgrimage to Chester Cathedral

Year 3 have been learning about pilgrimages this term and as part of this, visited Chester Cathedral. They had the privilege of being the first school to enter the cathedral using the brand new Pilgrim Door which has been opened to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. The children from both classes spent the morning learning about the history of the cathedral, looking at stained glass windows and even meeting St Werburgh herself!
